Factors we consider before quoting
Three things drive the final figure: the lock, the door, and the situation. A standard Yale-style nightlatch on an unobstructed timber door is straightforward. Why don't you list prices on the website?
Because a fixed price list would mislead customers. The same "lock change" can mean a £ basic cylinder swap or a full BS3621 deadlock replacement on a warped timber door - very different jobs. A real quote takes 60 seconds on the phone and is far more accurate than any static price table.

How do you handle payment?
